The Rockets ran roughshod over the Jazz 125-85. Shots fell that probably shouldn't have, and the Rockets cashed in. Rockets' outside barrage was a constant threat; the Jazz bent the defense out of shape from deep. The Jazz rotation plan worked against them — wrong guys, wrong night. Garbage time started early.
