After Action Report
In a track meet, the Timberwolves ran roughshod over the Mavericks 128-99. The tempo dragged the Mavericks into a rhythm they couldn't survive. Timberwolves' Run-and-Gun identity dictated the tempo; Mavericks' Rim Wreckers got loose for easy buckets in transition. Timberwolves' rotation plan looked deliberate, and the right guys made the most of their roles. One bad quarter was all it took to crack this one open.
What tipped it
- Mavericks · Rim Wreckers A trio of high-flyers run, dunk, and tilt the pace.
- Mavericks · Statement Win Last time out, a 20+ point beating sent a message.
