In a track meet, the SuperSonics held off the Trail Blazers 107-98. SuperSonics controlled the tempo from tip to buzzer. Trail Blazers' Rim Wreckers got loose for easy buckets in transition; the Trail Blazers couldn't shake the cold spell. Trail Blazers' per-player workload didn't match the gameplan.
