The Timberwolves survived the Knicks 104-102. The Knicks couldn't capitalize even when shots wouldn't fall for the Timberwolves. Timberwolves' defenders refused to give up clean looks; Knicks' veteran poise eliminated the costly mistakes. Ugly, but it counts the same in the standings.
