After Action Report
The Wizards held off the Trail Blazers 105-97. Ugly basketball, but the Wizards did just enough. Wizards' high-flyers tilted the pace and the rim; the Wizards ride keeps rolling — they're catching fire. The Wizards bench chemistry carried them. Wizards' rotation plan looked deliberate, and the right guys made the most of their roles. Style points be damned.
What tipped it
- Trail Blazers · Ice Cold On a 4+ game losing streak — shots aren't falling.
- Wizards · Rim Wreckers A trio of high-flyers run, dunk, and tilt the pace.
- Wizards · Catching Fire Riding a 4+ game winning streak — confidence is high.
- Wizards · Tight-Knit Locker-room chemistry is humming — extra trust on every possession.
