After Action Report
The Lakers snuck past the Trail Blazers 97-93. Ugly basketball, but the Lakers did just enough. Lakers' Rim Wreckers got loose for easy buckets in transition; the Lakers answered the bell with a bounce-back effort. Whispers of a Trail Blazers locker-room rift aren't helping. Lakers' rotation plan looked deliberate, and the right guys made the most of their roles. Style points be damned.
What tipped it
- Trail Blazers · Crashing An 8+ game losing skid — heads are down, both ends suffer.
- Trail Blazers · Locker-Room Rift Tension in the locker room — poor ball movement and streaky play.
- Lakers · Rim Wreckers A trio of high-flyers run, dunk, and tilt the pace.
- Lakers · Bouncing Back A winning team just got tripped up — expect a response.
