After Action Report
The Timberwolves held off the Trail Blazers 103-97. The Trail Blazers couldn't capitalize even when shots wouldn't fall for the Timberwolves. Timberwolves' defenders refused to give up clean looks; the Trail Blazers couldn't shake the cold spell. The Timberwolves bench chemistry carried them. Timberwolves' rotation plan looked deliberate, and the right guys made the most of their roles. Ugly, but it counts the same in the standings.
What tipped it
- Trail Blazers · Ice Cold On a 4+ game losing streak — shots aren't falling.
- Timberwolves · Tight-Knit Locker-room chemistry is humming — extra trust on every possession.
