After Action Report
The Pacers snuck past the Jazz 96-92. Ugly basketball, but the Pacers did just enough. You could feel the revenge motivation from the Pacers; Pacers' old heads steadied the ship in the swings. The Jazz looked disjointed — chemistry issues linger. Pacers' rotation plan looked deliberate, and the right guys made the most of their roles. Survive-and-advance type win.
What tipped it
- Pacers · Heartbreak A gutting last-second loss — revenge is on the menu.
- Jazz · Crashing An 8+ game losing skid — heads are down, both ends suffer.
- Jazz · Locker-Room Rift Tension in the locker room — poor ball movement and streaky play.
