The Timberwolves upended the Lakers 121-120. The Timberwolves got every break — every loose ball, every bounce. The Timberwolves pushed the pace until the other side broke; Lakers' Rim Wreckers got loose for easy buckets in transition. The Lakers rotation plan worked against them — wrong guys, wrong night. On paper this one shouldn't have been close — basketball had other ideas.
