After Action Report
The Cavaliers blew the doors off the Knicks 96-73. Ugly basketball, but the Cavaliers did just enough. Cavaliers' Rim Wreckers got loose for easy buckets in transition; the Cavaliers owned the glass, generating extra possessions. The Knicks looked disjointed — chemistry issues linger. Cavaliers' rotation plan looked deliberate, and the right guys made the most of their roles. Never a doubt in this one.
What tipped it
- Cavaliers · Rim Wreckers A trio of high-flyers run, dunk, and tilt the pace.
- Cavaliers · Glass Eaters Crashing the boards generates extra possessions and second-chance buckets.
- Cavaliers · Bouncing Back A winning team just got tripped up — expect a response.
- Knicks · Locker-Room Rift Tension in the locker room — poor ball movement and streaky play.
