After Action Report
In Detroit, the Timberwolves squeaked past the Pistons 111-109. Timberwolves controlled the tempo from tip to buzzer. Second-chance points piled up for the Timberwolves; Pistons' Rim Wreckers got loose for easy buckets in transition. Timberwolves' rotation plan looked deliberate, and the right guys made the most of their roles. Ugly, but it counts the same in the standings.
What tipped it
- Pistons · Rim Wreckers A trio of high-flyers run, dunk, and tilt the pace.
- Timberwolves · Glass Eaters Crashing the boards generates extra possessions and second-chance buckets.
