After Action Report
The Timberwolves survived the Pistons 108-106. The tempo dragged the Pistons into a rhythm they couldn't survive. Second-chance points piled up for the Timberwolves; Pistons' Rim Wreckers got loose for easy buckets in transition. Timberwolves' rotation plan looked deliberate, and the right guys made the most of their roles. Style points be damned.
What tipped it
- Timberwolves · Glass Eaters Crashing the boards generates extra possessions and second-chance buckets.
- Pistons · Rim Wreckers A trio of high-flyers run, dunk, and tilt the pace.
