After Action Report
In a track meet, the Knicks pulled away from the Wizards 108-97. The breakneck pace played right into Knicks' hands. Knicks' Rim Wreckers got loose for easy buckets in transition; the Knicks are in a full-on tailspin. Early returns: the Knicks per-player utilization choices fit the identity tonight. Ugly, but it counts the same in the standings.
What tipped it
- Wizards · Heartbreak A gutting last-second loss — revenge is on the menu.
- Knicks · Rim Wreckers A trio of high-flyers run, dunk, and tilt the pace.
- Knicks · Crashing An 8+ game losing skid — heads are down, both ends suffer.
- Knicks · Locker-Room Rift Tension in the locker room — poor ball movement and streaky play.
