In Dallas, the Hornets squeaked past the Mavericks 121-119. The Hornets got every break — every loose ball, every bounce. The Hornets carried the swagger of a recent blowout into this one; Hornets' defenders refused to give up clean looks. Early returns: the Hornets per-player utilization choices fit the identity tonight.
