In a track meet, the Hawks stunned the Hornets 117-110. The breakneck pace played right into Hawks' hands. Hawks' veteran poise eliminated the costly mistakes; Hornets' Run-and-Gun identity dictated the tempo. Hawks' rotation plan looked deliberate, and the right guys made the most of their roles. On paper this one shouldn't have been close — basketball had other ideas.
