After Action Report
In Minnesota, the Mavericks squeaked past the Timberwolves 108-107. Ugly basketball, but the Mavericks did just enough. Mavericks' Rim Wreckers got loose for easy buckets in transition; the Mavericks steamroller is in full effect right now. The Mavericks bench chemistry carried them. Mavericks' rotation plan looked deliberate, and the right guys made the most of their roles. Ugly, but it counts the same in the standings.
What tipped it
- Timberwolves · Ice Cold On a 4+ game losing streak — shots aren't falling.
- Timberwolves · Locker-Room Rift Tension in the locker room — poor ball movement and streaky play.
- Mavericks · Rim Wreckers A trio of high-flyers run, dunk, and tilt the pace.
- Mavericks · Buzzsaw An 8+ game winning streak — they cannot be stopped (until the league catches up).
- Mavericks · Tight-Knit Locker-room chemistry is humming — extra trust on every possession.
