The Mavericks snuck past the Hornets 119-117. Shots fell that probably shouldn't have, and the Mavericks cashed in. Mavericks' defenders refused to give up clean looks; the Hornets pushed the pace until the other side broke. Mavericks' rotation plan looked deliberate, and the right guys made the most of their roles.
