The Hornets downed the Heat 117-102. Ugly basketball, but the Hornets did just enough. Hornets' Rim Wreckers got loose for easy buckets in transition; the Heat bent the defense out of shape from deep. The Hornets locker room is humming, and it showed. The Heat rotation plan worked against them — wrong guys, wrong night. Ugly, but it counts the same in the standings.
